Should we never meet again
video installation, DVD from HD
duration 25 minutes

The film makes humorous use of the painterly form as one of its main characters, a wall-papered screen which moves through the streets pursuing a young man. The young man crosses Paris, calling on his mobile and talking to himself. He has problems and is looking for shelter for the night. In his mind, he runs through his whole circle of friends, but he doesn't dare approach any of them. From time to time, he stops and the screen catches up with him, pulling him into another dimension - a dimension where no boundaries and formalities exist and where, very briefly, he makes contact with total strangers.

The film is shot in the busy neighbourhoods of Barbès, Château Rouge and Gouttes d'Or, in Paris.

With Mireille Abadi, Manon Querelle, Feyçal Bagriche, Gerard Abela and Gregg Smith.
